I’m Learning. You’re Learning. Together, Let’s Follow Jesus and Discover Biblical Truth.

About Discovering Biblical Truth

Welcome to Discovering Biblical Truth, a space dedicated to helping Christians stand firm on God’s Word in an age of cultural confusion and theological drift.

My name is Mike. I’m not a pastor or theologian; I’m a layman pursuing a degree in biblical studies because I believe the Bible is God’s inspired, authoritative, and sufficient Word (2 Timothy 3:16-17). My passion is to equip everyday believers to navigate a world where many churches, teachers, and movements have drifted from historic Christian truth.

Why This Site Exists

We live in a time when:

  • Progressive theology redefines biblical love, morality, and even the gospel itself

  • Personal experience is elevated above scriptural authority

  • Many believers are left confused, discouraged, or misled

Discovering Biblical Truth exists to call Christians back to:
✅ The unchanging truth of Scripture
✅ The historic gospel of Jesus Christ
✅ A faith that stands firm against cultural compromise

What You’ll Find Here

Through my blog, YouTube channel, and resources, you’ll find:

  • Biblical Teaching — Exploring essential doctrines like the Trinity, salvation by grace through faith, repentance, and the authority of Scripture.

  • Cultural Discernment — Helping you recognize and resist progressive distortions of Christian teaching.

  • Practical Discipleship — Guiding you to grow in your relationship with Christ and live out your faith with clarity and conviction.

  • Defending the Faith — Equipping you to stand for biblical truth with courage and compassion.

My Approach

I am committed to:

  • Rootedness in Scripture — I don’t claim to have all the answers, but I believe God’s Word does.

  • Humble, Respectful Conversation — We grow through sharpening one another (Proverbs 27:17), not through anger or division.

  • Clarity and Accessibility — Sound theology should be explained clearly, not buried in complexity or academic jargon.

Why This Matters

Jesus prayed, “Sanctify them in the truth; Your word is truth.” (John 17:17 NASB)
In a time when false teachings multiply and cultural voices pull believers away, the call is urgent: hold fast to God’s truth, grow in discernment, and follow Christ faithfully.
